New seasons bring in new opportunities: Now offering STUDIO sessions!

It was a passing thought, an “I wish I had…” type of moment that quickly turned into a recurring daydream. Just as I got the courage to go looking into the realities of having my own space, I started to think about my intentions and goals, I began crunching numbers and it felt within reach but as I was physically looking at spaces the world came crashing to a halt and we entered quarantine.

Like so many others, I hit pause on new ventures thinking it’d only be a few weeks and spent my time figuring out how to support my clients through the pandemic. When it became clear that we were looking at a long term lifestyle shift where I’d be managing virtual schooling, regular family life, and a business I knew that pressing pause was for the best. My mind has been wandering toward that goal ever since, knowing I’d get to that point eventually.

It was mid-September when scrolling my Facebook feed turned into gushing over a friend’s new studio space, it was exactly what I was hoping to put together. She told me that it was a shared space and that there was an opportunity to join. I was thrilled and wanted to jump at this opportunity but tossed and turned over it for a few days because what else would I torture myself about while I’m falling asleep?!

I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially joined The East Ember Collective studio space. This spacious studio features incredible natural light, stunning brick, and has been curated with soft neutrals, pops of bold colors, and ornate textures and patterns. It’s perfectly set up for a wide variety of session types ranging from maternity, family and newborn all the way to headshots, boudoir, and boundless creative sessions. Every time I walk into this space I find myself flowing with new ideas and inspiration.

This beautiful studio space is located on the Eastside, on Farwell & North Ave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We’re located directly above the Hacienda Beer Company and across the street from The Crossroads Collective food hall and one of my favorite mural spots- Black Cat Alley! When coming to a session at the East Ember Collective studio you’ll find our entrance on the Farwell Ave side of the building. There’s limited street parking but you’ll likely have good luck across the street in the paid lot next to the US Bank.

I will be accepting 3-4+ sessions a month in the studio with bookings starting November, 1, 2021.
